GSS celebrated World Environment Day both with the community and the children. In the Water Economic Zone (WEZ) project area in the Seoni and Betul districts of Madhya Pradesh, with the generous support of Dharampal Satyapal Limited. Embracing the theme for 2024, “Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience,” with the slogan, “Our Land, Our Future,” the event underscored the critical importance of water conservation in enhancing land use patterns. Participants engaged in activities aimed at raising awareness about soil and water conservation, revitalizing water bodies, and fostering water user groups.
Children at our Sakhiyon Ki Baadi Centres, actively participated by creating posters, planting trees, and pledging to safeguard the environment, particularly by minimizing plastic usage. It was a collective effort towards building a sustainable future and nurturing a greener planet.
